I am extremely satisfied with this product. I purchased four units and was able to mount them in less than 5 minutes. Even with my partial carpal tunnel, I found it easy to set up these lights by myself. The screws that came with the product were too long for my wooden fence, but I easily found shorter screws that worked just fine. The lighting is not too heavy and the optional brightness and swivel adjustments are great features. As a 68-year-old Army veteran, I can confidently say that these lights are of great quality and value for the price. They appear to be durable and long-lasting.

Comparing this product to an outdoor solar lantern I purchased 15 years ago, the technology has significantly improved. The four modes offered by these lights are impressive. The first mode turns on the light at a dim setting when it gets dark. The second mode also turns on the light at a dim setting, but when motion is detected, it becomes very bright for 20 seconds. The third mode activates a bright light for 20 seconds when motion is detected after dark. The fourth mode flashes SOS signals when motion is detected in the dark, which is not very useful. Personally, I would prefer a feature that keeps the light very bright for 4 hours for a party, then returns to the dim setting. I have set the lights on the second mode and they have stayed lit all night until dawn, as long as there wasn't too much motion detected. The motion detection range of 15 feet is sufficient and the lights do not turn on when no one is present, unlike some wired motion detection lights. Considering the affordable price, including the remote control and shipping cost, these lights are excellent, especially for areas without electrical connections. I understand that the batteries will eventually die out, but if I can get 2 years of use out of them, I will be happy. It has only been less than a week since I installed them, so I will update my review later on.

Update: I have placed a replacement order and received the replacement after just one day. All the lights in the new set work flawlessly. I also reached out to the company and their communication was excellent and prompt. The only question that remains is the longevity of the lights, but so far, they seem like a great product for the price. If I remember, I will provide another update a few months from now.

Original review: Unfortunately, one of the lights in the set does not work well, which is why I am giving this review.

On the positive side, since I live in Colorado and we have plenty of sunlight, these lights charged without any issues in the spot where I placed them. I have them set on mode 1, and they turn on at dusk around 7 pm and last all the way until sunrise. The motion sensor has a good range and even detected motion from my small Yorkie. I appreciate having the option of the remote control, as it allows me to adjust the lights while I am outside. However, the range of the control is limited and requires line of sight and close proximity.

I will try to get a replacement and update this review accordingly.
